All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AIIPMR) Mumbai invites applications for admission in its undergraduate course Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO), a 4-1/2 year course (including 6 months compulsory internship).

AIIPMR Mumbai is a premier Institute in the country under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. AIIPMR is providing comprehensive Medical Rehabilitation Services under one roof, imparting training to various Medical and Allied Health professionals, and conducting research.

Affiliation and recognition: The BPO course is affiliated to: Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, (MUHS) Nashik and is recognised by: Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi. (A regulatory body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India New Delhi.)

All India quota seats; 08 seats are available for candidates from all over India including Maharashtra (All India Quota), who have passed their H.S.C.(10+ 2) or Equivalent Examination and who had appeared for NEET UG 2023 Examination, with minimum 50% Marks in PCB for general category candidates, 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC & 45% marks for PH category candidates. Selection of candidates under All India Quota will be done as per the NEET score of current academic year 2023-24. Candidates domiciled in the state of Maharashtra can also apply under this quota.

Maharashtra State quota seats: 08 seats are for Candidates domiciled in the State of Maharashtra (Maharashtra state Quota), who have passed their H.S.C. (10 +2) Examination from Colleges/Schools from Maharashtra State and appeared for NEET UG 2023. Selection of candidates under Maharashtra State Quota will be done by Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai, Maharashtra. Eligibility

a) Candidates who have passed 12th Std./10 +2 examination with English and minimum 50 % Marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology for General Category, 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC, & 45% marks for PH category or any other candidates Examination recognized as equivalent thereto by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and who has appeared for NEET UG 2023.

b) The Candidate must be born on or before31/12/2006. Birth Certificate or SSC (Class X) or equivalent examination certificate with the date of birth clearly endorsed shall be a valid evidence.

c) Current year NEET Scores will be considered for admission to BPO course along with other qualification & qualifying examination codes as per NEET marksheet-2023. Those applications not accompanied by class XII mark sheet & Neet 2023 Marksheet will not be considered.

d) The candidate must be an Indian National.

e) Eligibility of the candidates admitted, is granted by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and Institute takes no responsibility for the same. It is not assured by the Institute at the time of admission that University will grant eligibility to the candidate.
